US Navy Models are now shipping

Photographs and details for each of the new US Navy ship models can be accessed from the "US Navy" sub-menu under the main "Products" menu at the top of the page.

 

Tri-ang Minic Ships are an affordable range of high quality, realistic diecast metal waterline ship and harbour facility model toys designed to attract both children and adults.

All of the models are produced in the classic 1:1200 scale which allows the creation of detailed models in a size that is suitable for both play and display without requiring too much space.

This realistic range of model toys gives hours of entertainment by providing the ability to play a wide variety of games limited only by the imagination of each individual. The attractiveness of the ships is enhanced by the harbour accessories which allow the creation of a limitless range of realistic layouts for both play and display.

The individual harbour accessories have a unique and innovative design of interlocking rings, pins, locating lugs and locating holes which allow them to be accurately aligned and locked together to ensure a stable layout.

All of the models are of robust diecast metal construction, with moveable metal parts and plastic accessories, and have a baked hand painted finish with highlights and markings as appropriate.

The metal is a durable completely non-toxic Zinc and Aluminium alloy, known as Mazak, while the finish and markings are non-toxic paint. All of the products have undergone the required UK and EEC testing as toys and are certified to carry the mark.
