This is the Tri-ang Minic Ships model of a panamax container ship in Hamburg Süd livery simlar to a series of 4,000+ teu ships operated by the company which were built built in South Korea by Hyundai Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries Ltd, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co Ltd and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co Ltd in 2008 / 2010.

The casting is a third generation "Bay" Class container ship with a capacity of 2,436 TEU designed and built by A G Weser of Bremen, West Germany in the late 1970's.

The model is marked on the underside with the Tri-ang Minic logo, "Modern Edition", model number P 622 and the description Bay Class Container Ship.
