This is the Tri-ang Minic Ships model of MT Minerva Gloria / MT Minerva Sophia, two sister ships in Minerva Marine's fleet of twenty four Aframax tankers, built by Samsung Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries.
The casting is of one of a series of 115,000 deadweight ton Aframax Oil Tankers, with a cargo capacity of approximately 805,000 bbl, designed and built by Samsung Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries at Pusan, South Korea in the mid 2000's.
The model is marked on the underside with the Tri-ang Minic logo, "Modern Edition", model number P 630 and the description Aframax Tanker.
